Delaware Energy An$wers for Home Appliances

The Delaware Energy An$wers for Home Appliances offers grants to Delaware residents that retire inefficient appliances and replace them with select high efficient products.  Delaware residents may select any combination of five products for the home up to $500.  The Delaware Energy An$wers for Home Appliance grants are available for the following (click here for brochure):

• ENERGY STAR Refrigerators 15 cubic feet or larger - $100 per unit

• ENERGY STAR Freezers - $50 per unit

• ENERGY STAR Washing Machines

  • Top Loading - $50 per unit

  • Front Loading - $100 per unit

• Window Air Conditioners - $25 per unit

  • 8000 Btu to 13,999 Btu with EER of 10.8

  • 14,000 Btu to 19,999 Btu with EER of 10.7

  • 20,000 Btu or greater with EER of 9.4

• Electric Water Heaters - GAMA rated EF 0.93 or higher - $25

• Central Air Conditioners with Programmable Thermostats  (professionally sized and installed only) with greater than or equal to SEER 15 - $350
