Because of the excellent response to the
Energy Answers for Home Appliances Program
you may experience a check delay of 90-180
days. If any of the required documents for
the rebate are missing, it will delay the
processing.
Background:
On May 2, 2006 Governor
Minner signed SB 281 and appropriated $8 million in
funds to the Delaware Department of Natural Resources
and Environmental Control for an
Energy Efficiency
Program.
"The Delaware Energy Office will
stop accepting reservation
applications for the Appliance
Grant Program at the close of
business - 4:30 p.m. on May 30.
All reservation applications
received on and before this date
will be processed and paid as
quickly as possible."
